IF YOU CANT AFFORD YOUR KIDS COLLEGE AND YOU EX WIFE FAMILY CAN,CAN THEY GET OUT OF THE EQUITY OF THE HOUSE WHEN ITS SOLD

Q:  THE HOUSE WOULD NOT BE SOLD FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS.

A:  David's Answer:  If the kids are in college now, then the expenses must be paid now. That said, you can always take out Parents loan to cover your portion (assuming the divorce agreement/judgment requires you to contribute to same). You can then payback the loan once the house sells. Schedule a consult with a Putnum/Westchester Family Law attorney for more info.  -- David Bliven, Westchester Family Law attorney (www.blivenlaw.net)
